It is a large section from an Amethyst Geode and the base is smooth cut so it is stable and freestanding. The crystals have numerous very well defined deep purple colour points with great clarity and there is also a thick layer of blue-grey agate around the crystal cavity. The Cathedral is a lovely cave shape.
