Stunning Amethyst Geode Big 1½ lb Beauty! This beautiful Amethyst geode is from the country of Uruguay and ranges in dark shades of purple with mixed size druzy crystal points. The geode weighs 1½ lbs and is approximately 3½" tall, 4" wide, and sits up to 2¼ deep. This geode has a polished quartz with agate backside, a flat cut base, and stands freely on its own, making it ideal for display on a shelf, desk, mantle or more.

The stone features a great mix of dark purple amethyst crystals! No geode is 100% perfect, so please allow for a few small natural chips in some of the crystals. Pictures show the amethyst in two different kinds of indoor lighting conditions. Amethyst is in the same family of gemstones as citrine and quartz, and is mined in sizes from small gemstones up to the large cathedral church. A special Amethyst information card is also included with this geode.
