This comes with a nice detailed Dixie Euhedrals specimen label with a specific catalog number as shown in the images. This crystal is an interesting specimen that comes from Wilkes County Georgia, right here in the USA!
This is an amethyst crystal that I dug at Jackson's Crossroads (abbreviated to JXR) in Wilkes, County, Georgia in 2005. On occasion pockets would be encountered with atypical growth. This is a cluster that grew "Rosette Style" but some of the crystals have re-entrant cavities instead of a point.
This type of growth is rarely seen at the locality. This has a gemmy dark colored crystal as well as some of the lighter ones. This also has a double terminated crystal that has a regular point and the opposing end terminated but with a re-entrant cavity. If you are looking for a specific type of specimen from JXR then message me as I have many specimens to match every price range.
We have lots of different types of crystals from Georgia and other US States and a lot of different localities so be sure to check out my other listings.
