This crystal is an interesting specimen that comes from Wilkes County Georgia, right here in the USA!

This is an amethyst crystal that I dug at Jackson's Crossroads (abbreviated to JXR) in Wilkes, County, Georgia in 2005. On occasion pockets would be encountered with atypical growth. This is a cluster that grew "Rosette Style" but some of the crystals have re-entrant cavities instead of a point.

This type of growth is rarely seen at the locality. This has a gemmy dark colored crystal as well as some of the lighter ones. This also has a double terminated crystal that has a regular point and the opposing end terminated but with a re-entrant cavity. If you are looking for a specific type of specimen from JXR then message me as I have many specimens to match every price range.

We have lots of different types of crystals from Georgia and other US States and a lot of different localities so be sure to check out my other listings.
