This is a LARGE specimen shown with large images that will display on your screen larger than life. Please note the dimensions in the description below. This is a N ICE LARGE SPECIMEN that is a CALCITE CRYSTAL CLUSTER from THE SWEETWATER MINE, MISSOURI. This is from the collection of a discriminating Middle-Georgia collector with an eye for aesthetics and quality. These choice specimens now bear Dixie Euhedrals labels.

This specimen has unusually bright faces. Some faces are as bright as quartz without the dull usual luster of calcite.

This has complex striations and growth hillocks. Internally there is a sharp phantom formed from chalcopyrite crystal inclusions. The phantom is sharp, well defined and three dimensional. Further, the termination of the phantom differs from the final late stage termination of the crystals proper. This also has some small chalcopyrite crystals on the outside base of the crystals.

Did I mention that this is a large specimen? This is shown with enlarged images so please note. This is shown with large high-resolution images. The photos show the specimen as if you were examining it with a magnifying glass. Every good detail, and every bad detail, is shown in a blaze of glory or shame as the case may be.
