Large NY Herkimer Diamond Quartz Crystal Cluster 5pc, Rainbows, Hydrocarbon

Genuine Herkimer Diamond Quartz Cluster (5pc) measuring 112x92x50mm and weighing 12.8 oz. There are fractures, some minor surface imperfections and the bottom and part of the side is semi rough from separation with matrix. Other than this the specimen is in good condition with nice clarity, internal wisps and chambers, bright rainbows, hydrocarbon speckle inclusions and a aesthetic formation. There is also one other rather unique feature located on the side of the largest crystal.

It appears a small chip broke partially off during the growth process and some how a small shard fell into the crack and then it kept on growing and healed like that. Its not exactly visually stunning but still an interesting feature and definitely noteworthy in my opinion. Overall a great Herkimer Diamond cluster from Treasure Mountain Mine in upstate NY.
