RARE NATIVE GOLD CRYSTAL CLUSTER from BOLIVAR, VENEZUELA, 4.6 grams! 1.6 cm

Gorgeous cluster of sharp Native Gold crystals. 1.6 x 1.3 x. This is a rare, fine example of crystallized Gold from the finds in Venezuela. These are huge as far as crystallized Gold is concerned, while still exhibiting a distinct and elongate octahedral habit.

The largest crystal is 1.15 cm long! Native Gold is normally encountered as river-worn nuggets or flakes, but rarely as wires or flattened crystals. However, robust, distinct crystals such as the ones that comprise this specimen are the rarest of all. This is a fine, 3D example of this exceptional material that I definitely will miss.. This piece is so much better in person. My pics do not do it justice! No treatments, the specimen is 100% natural. Much better in person too; my pictures do little justice for this piece!
