It is a large section from an Amethyst Geode and the base is smooth cut so it is stable and freestanding. The crystals have numerous very well defined deep purple colour points with some Calcite infill and the piece is a lovely cave shape. The piece weighs 4.4kg/ 9lb 11oz and measures 16.5cm wide x 15cm high x 12cm deep.
