A fabulous antique Edwardian 9K gold opal and crystal butterflies ring, hallmarked to 1908. This charming antique Edwardian solid 9K yellow gold ring has three stunning opal cabochons full of glittering opalescent blues and greens with flashes of fiery oranges and crimsons separated by four glittering white faceted mixed cut crystals representing diamonds, the unusual shoulders have wonderful butterfly form decorations. The ring has English hallmarks with the Chester town mark,'9 375' and date letter'H' for 1908. The ring is approximately a size 6. The ring measures approximately 15mm across the stones.

At its widest point the band measures about 7mm wide. The large opal measures about 5mm x 4mm, the smaller about 2mm and the crystals about 1.5mm. The ring rises approximately 4mm above the finger and weighs about 2.1 grams. The ring is in excellent condition with general light wear. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items!
